Paul & Julie Roberts, 2009 Annual Fund Chairs
At the Boothbay Region YMCA...Your Story is Our Story!
At the Boothbay Region YMCA, hundreds of stories are created each day, woven together by the common threads of empowered individuals and families. These stories allow us to reminisce about whom we are, where we have been and where we want to go.
In 2008, community support through our Annual Fund Drive provided financial assistance to over 800 individuals.
Over the past five years, our YMCA has had instances of unfunded depreciation. The YMCA uses all its income from the Annual Fund and interest from the Endowment to offset some, but not all.
As a result, your help through the Annual Fund is VITAL if the YMCA is to continue to provide and improve programs and services. The YMCA Annual Fund is a tangible way for both year round and summer residents to contribute back to this wonderful community.
